Dr. Hala Gomaa

Dr Gomaa has more than 20 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI) for over 10 years. She graduated from Cairo University, Egypt in 1996 where she received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh) and later obtained her Master of Science from the same institution in 2000 following a period of residency in OBGYN. After that Dr Gomaa furthered honed her skills with clinical fellowships focused on Reproductive Sciences and Mature Women's Health at Mount Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada. Before now, she had worked at popular fertility centres like SIMS IVF Centre in Ireland as well as Conceptia Fertility Clinic located in Canada before joining Umniya Fertility Center here in Abu Dhabi. There are many publications to Dr Gomaa's credit which reflects her commitment to cutting-edge research work; this is apart from the presentations made by her all aimed at keeping pace with the latest infertility treatment protocols.

Dr Gomaa is highly skilled in conducting thorough fertility evaluations using state-of-the-art laboratory and radiographic techniques. She has a personalized means of taking care of her patients by developing unique management plans which may include counselling, fertility drugs and IVF. These are complex cases that involve fertility preservation, recurrent implantation failure, and male infertility. She is a member of the British Fertility Society; she also has a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP) certification. This shows her wide knowledge in the field like fertility preservation; managing sterile couples; assisted conception; male infertility; embryo transfer / IUI and pelvic ultrasound scans. They are grateful for empathy as well as compassion as shown through offering treatment at its best.

Dr Gomaa's contributions to the field have been recognized through her memberships and certifications, including being a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RCOG) in the UK since 2019. Her dedication to excellence in patient care and research has earned her acclaim within the medical community.
